3rd Annual Bra Run, Emmaus, PA
Leather & Lace, a female motorcycle club organization, once again held a Bra
Run as a fund raiser for the Johns Hopkins Breast Center. The event, held on
april 26 and 27, 2003 fell on the same weekend as the Avon 2 Day Walk, so for
the first time, Lillie Shockney , director of education and outreach, and Judy
Matthews, lead survivor volunteer, were not able to attend. Terry Haas, better
known as Butterkup, who is now the national VP of L&L, drove down on May 16th
to Johns Hopkins for a tour followed by a formal check presentation ceremony
in the Weinberg Cancer Building on May 17th. Below are photos of these two
days spent at Hopkins! Thanks Butterkup!
