Dr. Fariba Asrari is the Director of the Breast Center at Green Spring Station.

Dr. Deborah Frassica graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine in 1984. She did an internal medicine internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda 1994-1995 then went on to a radiation oncology residency at the Mayo Clinic 1985-88. She has been board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology since 1988. Dr. Frassica served as a staff radiation oncologist in the U.S. Navy at both Portsmouth, VA and Bethesda, MD between 1988-1998, achieving the rank of Commander. In addition to her clinical practice, she has served as the Head of Radiation Oncology at both Portsmouth and Bethesda and was the program director for the National Cancer Institute/Walter Reed/National Naval Medical Center's radiation oncology residency program. Currently, Dr. Frassica's practice is based at the Green Spring Station facility. Major areas of interest include breast cancer, musculoskeletal oncology and GI malignancy.

Dr. Zellars graduated from from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1991. He did a one year internship at GBMC; his residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in the Dept. of Radiation Oncology, where he was Chief Resident from 1995-96; he was Assistant Professor/Vice-Chair and Clinic Director at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for 3 ½ years. Most recently he was Assistant Professor at Georgetown University. Dr. Zellars' primary area of interest is carcinoma of the breast. Dr. Zellars is listed as one of the top doctors for women by both Redbook and Ladies Home Journal. His grant supported research aims to improve the safety, facility and efficacy of radiation.
