Ginger Muscalli
RD, LD

Ginger received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition at the University of Maryland at College Park, MD and she completed her Dietetic Internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She started at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1980 as a Registered Dietitian working with OB/GYN and GYN Oncology patients. Ginger currently manages the medical clinical nutrition staff including outpatient services and a satellite nutrition center. She has completed the Certified Applied Food Services Sanitation Course and is responsible for management of daily trayline operations. She is vital in establishing policies and procedures and developing new food service programs. Ginger also serves as site preceptor for the Sodexho Marriott Mid-Atlantic Dietetic Internship Program. In addition to her position at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Ginger is a consulting Dietitian at Riverview Care Center in Baltimore. She has presented numerous lectures on a variety of topics at the local and state level and is the Consulting Editor of "Diabetic Delights," a recipe book for diabetics that was published in 1994. Ginger stays involved in community and state activities as an active member of the Maryland Dietetic Association serving as Chairperson of both the Honors and Awards Committee and the Continuing Education Committee.


Margaret Rosenfeld
PhD, RD, LD

After completion of a Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont, Margaret received a Master of Science and a PhD from Pennsylvania State University and University of Maryland, respectively. She has had extensive experiences as a Registered Dietitian, the last of which was as a research nutritionist at Yale New-Haven Hospital before joining The Johns Hopkins Oncology Center in 1989. Her area of expertise is in the field of Clinical Nutrition with primary emphasis on the nutritional management of the cancer patient. Her current position focuses on appropriate nutritional support in cancer patients, to conduct research, to teach medical staff and dietetic interns, and to give outside presentations within the community or at professional conferences. She is or has been a member of Sigma Delta Epsilon, American Dietetic Association, American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Support, American Society for Nutritional Sciences, and Sigma XI. She is also a registered dietitian and licensed in the State of Maryland.
