| 04/01/2005 | I am 54 and have had breast cysts 3 times over the last four years. Each time they were aspirated, and it is my personal opinion it was the same cyst each time. (Although the doctor is not sure.) I now have another lump. It did not show on the mammogram, but presented as a hard cystic lesion that would not compress on the sonogram. The doctor says I should get it biopsied and then removed. If it's going to be removed anyways, why have the biopsy? And can the doctor be so sure from this sonogram that it would definitely have to be removed? Couldn't it still be benign? | ||
