9/21/2005I was dx in Jan 05 with mets to neck nodes and hip bone.(original dx stage2b BC in sept 03) since starting on xeloda all my scans have come back NED. I have been feeling pretty good but I'm having alittle trouble trying to figure out what to do next, because of the dx of mets, I would like to go and do everything I can now, while I'm feeling ok, but this would mean quitting my job and going on SSD, am I jumping the gun here, since I'm NED should I just continue to work and IF/when it comes back, try to fit in all the things I can? This is the hardest part of having mets... not knowing what to do, I certaintly don't want to waste my qualility of life at work.... I know there only stats but what is the average time a person stays NED, and when it comes back is it usually worse? please help

9/23/2005there is no way to predict what your body will do. usually women opt to continue to work until their doctor directs them otherwise due to extent of disease or symptoms suffering from it.
