| 1/9/2006 | I had a dcis-lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy which was all negative last year-- it didnt heal well and i want reconstruction and my dr. agrees-how is a mammography done with aspirations and biopsies after reconstruction--and what is the safest why to do it--saline? or something else. thank you hope to hear from you sonn because my appointment with surgeon is on friday the thirteenth | ||

| 1/9/2006 | if the breast is distorted and in need of reconstruction following lumpectomy, it is rare to do reconstruction on it... first of all, the recon would be an implant and radiation and implants don't go well together. what is more common to do is a skin sparing mastectomy, and skip the radiation and do reconstructio at same time as mastectomy. | ||
