|8/7/2006||Hi, my mom has had mets to lung 2003), brain (2004), and now kidney and adrenal gland, (removed last week) as identified by pathology report. She also has nodules in lungs. Is there maybe a chance that some of them might be benign? They are small. She has pet scan every 4 months so i know these nodules were caught early. I also know this is aggressive but can she still possibly go into remission or do you think I'm grasping.|

Ask an Expert is a free service operated by health care professionals at the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center. Due to the volume of questions and their complexity, there are times when medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists or oncology nurses are consulted for their input. These individuals volunteer their time for this service and will respond as soon as they are able. Please do not post or send the same question to us in multiple locations or categories.
