11/12/2006Hello,I had a biopsy 3 weeks ago and aside from the sharp pains at times (which I understand to be normal) I have this hard lump that can be felt is this normal?I did not have a lump before ,calcifications were the reason for the biopsy and they were not felt. Can having a breast biopsy cause cancer cells to spread within the breast by getting blood from the CA cells on surrounding healthy tissue, could this be why so many women dont have clean margins after a lumpectomy? Thanks you for the answers for this multi question in advance.
