| 8/7/2010 | My sister has breast cancer, I am a 46 year old woman and I am concern about myself. I have cystic breast, a few were removed after doing needle aspiration because of unusual cells. I was told its not cancerous. What are my risk? | ||

| 8/9/2010 | It may be beneficial for you and your sister to meet with a genetics counselor to determine your true tisk. Depending on other family history, other risk factors you may personally have and your sister's age at diagnosis will influence how likely it is that your family may carry a breast cancer gene or not. cysts in the breast don't increase risk and they can't "turn into" breast cancer. if you want to do that here call 410-502-7082. | ||
