9/9/2010Hi i had breast cancer stage 2 five years ago.I did chemo ,rads,zoladex,tamoxifen.I am feeling extremely welland I want to go on with my life.Every time i have to see my doctor and do my tests i am feeling very sad because doctors insists that even some years passedthe danger the cancer comes back is there.I want to forgot,i want to stop tamoxifen, i want to go on to a normal life but the doctors dont let mewhat do u suggest to do

9/9/2010time period for taking tamoxifen is 5 years and not longer than that. risk of recurrence is greatest, if its going to happen, during first 2 years. you are well passed that milestone. the more time that passes the better the odds are that you won't revisit this again. congrats. be well!
