| 11/30/2010 | I had breast mastectomy and 4 months later developed hematoma. Could you please tell me what is the standard of care for hematoma at Johns Hopkins hospital: compression, ice, heat, aspirin,antibiotics,advil? Thank you for the answer. | ||

| 11/30/2010 | I've never seen a hematoma develop 4 months LATER. It is also rare for a patient to have a hematoma immediately post mastectomy either. The cause of it needs to be determined before a treatment recommendation can be made to a patient. The size of the hematoma is a factor too. | ||
