|12/4/2010||Hello,I have BRCA2--got the result after a diagnosis of dcis-I am 41 and have already had a dblmast with reconstruction. Now thinking of getting a bso-my transvaginal was normal as is my ca125. However,I am wondering if I have left it to late. Is it true the optimum age for bso is 40 especially after having breast cancer? I should mention that I was diagnosed at the age of 40.Truth be known I am quite scared of doing the BSO and waking up and being told I have cancer. Thanks|
