1/3/2011I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2009,but the pathology report said that I had the same spot on my mammogram the year before (in 2008), which was slightly larger than in year 2003.So what was the year of my diagnosys? The tumor was 7 mm.

1/3/2011the year of your diagnosis was the year your biopsy was performed and you learned you had breast cancer. i think you are asking how long have who had breast cancer-- that is unknown but hinesight is said to be 20/20. usually breast cancer has been present about 5 years to be 10mm. so it was there for several years before diagnosed. not unusual.
