| 2/10/2011 | My Mammagram states Heterogeneouly dense (51 -75% fibroglandular)no abnormalities are seen -- but with dense tissue may lower sensitivity of mammogram. Should I ask for a breast ultrasound also just to make sure they are not missing something? | ||

| 2/10/2011 | you need to ensure the radiologist reading the mammogram is a breast imaging radiologist. then check what the birad score is. if 1,2 or 3 then the findings were not considered of concern. you certainly can call and speak with him/her and see if he/she would want to do addiitonal imaging to provide more peace of mind. | ||
