4/14/2011Lillian, Thanks very much for your reply on the question I posed yesterday. I guess I must leave your breast center which has treated me so well over the years. I remember you holding my hand through my scary time and I will always remember and be grateful to you for it. I have made an appt with a new primary care physician in Portland Maine who will refer me for my yearly mammogram up there sometime in July. I'll call Hopkins for my records to send up there shortly. Thanks for all that you do. If you get the chance, please give Dr. Tsangaris a BIG GIGANTIC bear hug for me for his skillful surgery and wonderful bedside manner over the years. I will be forever grateful to him as well.

Please note: This service is not intended to provide primary medical advice concerning specific medical care or treatment. Ask an Expert is a free service operated by health care professionals at the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center. Due to the volume of questions and their complexity, there are times when medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists or oncology nurses are consulted for their input. These individuals volunteer their time for this service and will respond as soon as they are able. Please do not post or send the same question to us in multiple locations or categories.
