| 9/18/2011 | I am 34. My ER-PR report says ER is 5 and PR is 4 and also it says it is Moderatly +ve . Histopath report says , it is Stage one Grade 2 cancer. My tumor size was 2.5 cm but my actual invasive material was 0.8 cm. So is it stage 1 or stage 2? and Could you please help me to explain it in simpiler ways. and what are the re-occurence chances I will be having in this case? And is chemo required or not? | ||

| 9/19/2011 | Thank you for turning to the Johns Hopkins Breast Center with your questions. So a tumor size of 2.5 would be considered a Stage 2. (Stage is different from grade). This staging is standardized by the American Joint Committee on Cancer. Hope this helps and best wishes. | ||
