|10/4/2011||my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 57, it was estrogen receptor positive, she went on tamoxifen for 5 years and has been fine since. i know my risk is higher, should i be eating soy products or avoiding them?|

|10/5/2011||Thank you for turning to the Johns Hopkins Breast Center, and congratulations on your mom's journey! Generally the recommendation for soy intake, is for soy found naturaly in foods. You do not need to avoid soy. Hope this helps, and best wishes.|
