| 10/8/2011 | Hello,Thank you for your help with this question .......I was diagnosed with 5 mm IDC Breast cancer June, 2010, had lumpectomy followed by masectomy for residial DCIS, sentinel node biopsy clear. ER (barely positive), PR-, HER- so 4 rounds of taxotere/cytoxan due to oncotype score of 37 and now daily tamoxifen . Question: Oncol.Dr says I'm fine now but ended up in ER recently for chest/abdomen pains , turned out to be gallstones seen on CT scan..but also seen were two 3mm lung nodules. My oncol. says will do repeat CT in 3 months(originally said 6 mo. but knew i was concerned) and that it's probably nothing. He said too small to do PET/CT. is there any other test that can give answers? | ||

| 10/9/2011 | Thank you for turning to the Johns Hopkins Breast Center. No not really. 3mm is too small and could be many non-specific things. Your doctor's recommendations are spot on and follow up is key. Hope this helps and best wishes! | ||
