| 10/20/2011 | After my MX 10 years ago, I had a silicone implant put in. Had a local recurrance last year and had radiation. I now have severe capsulated contracture and need the implant out and I am not a candidate for another implant and actually would not like another one. What are my best options of having a breast with the least amount of surgery down time? Thank you... | ||

DIEP flap, S-GAP, or TUG flap. go to www.hopkinsbreastcenter.org and use the search feature. type in "animation flap reconstruction" and you will be able to see what i mean. you want to have a plastics reconstruction surgeon who is skilled in doing these procedures with patients who have had chest wall radiation. we have 4 such surgeons. if you want to come our way just call 443-287-2778. | ||
