|11/22/2011||Hi Lilly, i was diagonosed one year ago w/ stage 1 bc, er+, pr-, her2+. i did double mastectomy and chemo. just finished a year of herceptin. i am on tamoxifen for 5 yrs that i started in march of this year. i just got my first period since last Dec. 2010. Should i be concerned i am menstrating? wasn't sure if this meant the tamoxifen wasn't working for me. i am 37 yrs old.|

|11/22/2011||good for you to finally be completed your acute treatment and move into the chronic treatment mode of hormonal therapy. don't worry too much about your period reappearing. let your medical oncologist know however that they appear to have resumed. he might want to check your hormone blood levels. many women taking tamoxifen do menstruate however.|
