| 12/14/2011 | What is the best test to detect bone mets? An MRI of my lumbar spine showed several lesions suspicious fir metastatic disease. Following this, I was sent for a hone scan which was discordant with the MRI and showed no abnormal uptake. I was then sent for a full body pet/cr scab which showed no metabolic activity. What does this mean? | ||

| 12/15/2011 | then the definitive test per se to verify if its mets or not would be a bone biopsy of the areas found on MRI. don't be surprised if they decide to wait and watch to see if it progresses though. | ||
