2/9/2012I am 58 years old. My mother got breast cancer when she was 50 and died when she was 52 because it spread to her bones. I have been getting mammograms since I was 22 years old. A few years back I had a benign tumor removed from my right breast. The breast dr. tried to talk me into having both my breasts removes since there was a history. I declined. This past Monday I had my yearly mammogram and had to go back because it didn't look right. They gave me another mammo and then an ultrasound. The dr. said there was a cluster of cysts in the same breast so I have to go back for a biopsy. Is this bad, should I be worried. I guess I've been waiting for this to happen to me since my mom died. Are cluster of cysts cancerous?

2/9/2012a cluster of cysts are usually benign. so don't panic yet. it would be premature.
