| 3/3/2012 | I had a lumpectomy and SLB 3/4 node pos will be starting chemotherapy in a week. AC every other week x 4 and then taxol 1x a week x12.I am worried about it harming my digestion and immune systems. Is there anything I can take to help me get through it without damaging myself long term? | ||

| 3/4/2012 | It is very likely that the doctor taking care of you will give you a prescription for anti-nausea meds to take in a preventative way to avoid getting any GI side effects from the start. Your immune system will be somewhat taxed however exercise (power walking for 30 minutes 3 times a week), eating a diet with lots of green and orange veggies, avoiding being around those who are sick themselves with colds and flu, and getting adequate sleep at night should keep you in good shape during and after your treatment is completed. | ||
