|3/4/2012||Hello, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 BC three years ago, had a bilateral mastectomy. Onco Type was 3 on left and 0 on right so I was put on Tamoxifan for 2 years and have been now on Exemestane for 1 year. I went through menopause, or so I thought, and my periods stopped. Today, however, I started bleeding. Is this cause for concern?|

|3/4/2012||Not concern, but should be checked out, since is a 'new' occurrence. Talk with both your medical oncologist and your GYN for an evaluation.|
Please note: This service is not intended to provide primary medical advice concerning specific medical care or treatment. Ask an Expert is a free service operated by health care professionals at the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center. Due to the volume of questions and their complexity, there are times when medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists or oncology nurses are consulted for their input. These individuals volunteer their time for this service and will respond as soon as they are able. Please do not post or send the same question to us in multiple locations or categories.
