| 3/15/2012 | Just received report of "new findings" from recent Screening mammogram "with computer aided Detection" etc. Am going back today for a sonogram and additional views. I am 78, have mammograms every year, but this time I now have "oval nodule measures 4 mm 5-6:00 periareolar region of right breast. Breast composition Category 2. There are scattered fibroglandular densities (approx. 25%-50% glandular). No malignant calcifications." I am concerned. Please tell me what this means. | ||

It is difficult to tell what this might be based on limited information, but the additional imaging and views will help, and perhaps a biopsy is indicated. Hang in there! | ||
