4/2/2012Thank you for your answer about the back pain (8yrs out, etc. that might be LE related.

Your answer was that if scans showed no mets -- the pain could be from the LE.

It was decided by my care team that I should not have chemo so I did not have a med. onc..... and have never had a bone scan.

I was wondering if having very good bone density (at 71 I have a better density than most 30 yr olds) would I be less likely to get bone mets.... or no difference?

Thanks for the encourageing words about being 5% or less chance of recurrence, being 8 yrs out..... Every little bit of encouragement helps! :)

4/2/2012bone density and development of bone mets are unrelated to one another.
