Questions about Mastectomy with Flap Reconstruction.
|Asked||Publicly Submitted Question|
|4/6/2012||DIEP flap not enough stomach tissue- I am in the process of figuring out what type of reconstruction to have for double mastectomy. Would prefer to have DIEP and do not have enough belly tissue to make both breasts at same size I currently am. Can I get the DIEP and then get tissue from somewhere else? Is this done separately from the DIEP flap or at the same time?|
