| 4/12/2012 | I had a mastectomy on my right breast in Oct. 2008. I had chemo and have been on Tamoxifen since 3/09. The last two weeks my left nipple has been itchy and I have notied a few bumps around. I am worried about Pagets Disease. Could this be possible. I had a mammogram in Sept. and was told everything was okay. Should I be worried? I have appt. with oncologist on 4/30 can this wait or should I call my surgeon and make appt with her? Thanks for your time. | ||

Please note: This service is not intended to provide primary medical advice concerning specific medical care or treatment. Ask an Expert is a free service operated by health care professionals at the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center. Due to the volume of questions and their complexity, there are times when medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists or oncology nurses are consulted for their input. These individuals volunteer their time for this service and will respond as soon as they are able. Please do not post or send the same question to us in multiple locations or categories.
