Diagnostic mammogram's and other breast imaging questions.

|5/11/2012||hi, i had a mammogram 2 weeks ago and a asymmetrical density measuring 2 cm was found, went back today for spot compression and cc and mlo views along with ultrasound, radiologist had me come into his office and explained that the mass is 2.1 cm and that a biopsy is recommended, he stated my birads is 4. my obgyn is out sick today and since the weekend is here that means monday before I speak with him. radiologist recommends core biopsy...any thoughts of feed back is greatly appreciated|

|5/11/2012||it would be good to know the letter associated with the birad 4 number. ie, birad 4a, or 4b, or 4c. The higher the letter, the most suspicious the radiologist thinks this is cancer. see if you can get someone on the phone to tell you that letter value. 4a for example is only 20% risk of being cancer.|
