6/26/2012I woke up this morning and my bra and shirt on the left side were saturated with an oily feeling liquid. I had bleeding from my left breast a couple of months ago and an ultrasound came back normal. I cant seem to find any info on that much leakage from one breast that is described as oily? Just wondering if this is normal or if anyone else has experienced this. I am 26, my youngest child is 3, stopped breastfeeding over 2 years ago. thanks.

6/27/2012hhmmm. that is odd. Though your previous ultrasound didn't show the cause of the prior bleeding, the radiologist and your gyn (assuming that may be who referred you) still should have pursued this further to determine the cause. Neither symptom are normal. So time to get further diagnostic evaluation in a breast imaging setting. if you want to come to us you can. just call 410-955-4100 and tell the scheduler your symptoms and that you need diagnostic evaluation. she will schedule you within 24 hours.
