5/1/2014Receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer can be very scary, for your mom and for you and the family. Sounds like she just had a biopsy done so far, and some breast imaging. So she needs to consult with a breast surgical oncologist to get treatment recommendations, discuss types of surgery, but also learn more information about the cancer itself. Is it invasive or non-invasie (DCIS); what are the hormone receptors, do her lymph nodes under her arm feel enlarged and so on. If we can help please call 443-997-8282 for an appointment @ Johns Hopkins. Best wishes
