8/18/2017Hi Lillie,
I just want to thank you for all your answers to my questions as I have traveled the path of breast cancer. I know I will have more as I continue along.
My HMO got rid of the nurse navigator in the oncology department about 3 years ago and I suffered the consequences of their ignorance and omissions. Don't know what I would have done without you. The HMO wanted to increase their profits by hiring medical assistants. Sorry, but an MA is not a replacement for a seasoned RN. With your background as a breast cancer patient your compassion and understanding of the patient experience shines through.
Thank you, again, for all that you do for breast cancer patient's.
